The SRC M4 RIS Tactical w/ retractable crane stock and integrated rail system [RIS] is a realistic, durable, and versatile AEG rifle from SRC that features a full metal gearbox, a high-performance cylinder crafted from aluminum, a high torque motor, an aluminum barrel, and a metallic rail system. The rifle, to the delight of many Airsoft players, has been retrofitted w/ a crane stock which has been pre-wired from SRC to house crane stock batteries as opposed to having a mini-type battery up in the hand guard area. Essentially, this allows for a few more possibilities in terms of battery selection. In typical M4 fashion, the crane stock is retractable/adjustable (4-position) for comfort, and the carry handle is removable (revealing a receiver-top rail on which you can mount optics).
The M4 RIS Tactical features a stout body. Unlike older ABS receivers such as receivers found on Tokyo Marui AEGs, the SRC M4 RIS has a fiber polymer reinforced ABS receiver, which means a higher level of build quality and more significantly, DURABILITY, all-around. The receiver features a higher density than most standard receivers, and as a result, is more durable and less prone to cracking or breaking due to an inadvertent drop or collision.
As always, the M4's retractable/adjustable rear stock maximizes comfort and versatility on the field. With the rear stock extended, take on outdoor games in full-force fury. With the rear stock retracted, CQB matches are conquered with ease, as you glide through narrow doorways and around corners with the agility only your compacted rifle can provide you.
The SRC M4 RIS has a pre-installed metallic composite rail system, so upgrades and add-ons are installed with ease. As seen in the pictures, 3x protective rail panels are included with the package. These panels are REMOVABLE to reveal the full rail system [RIS]; the panels are extremely useful in protecting your rail system against scratches/damage when not in use.
